Lois Sperry

Lois Sperry of Lubbock passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at the age of 81. She was born March 6, 1931 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Elmer and Susan Williams. She married Howard Sperry in Gainesville, Texas in 1950. The couple made their home in Brownfield where Lois worked as a nurse. After moving to Lubbock, she became a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church.

Those left to cherish her memory are one daughter, Kathy Sperry of Lubbock; one son, Mike Sperry and wife Denise of Wichita Falls; one brother, Cecil Williams and wife Barbara of Oklahoma City, OK; three grandchildren, Amanda Streit, Ryan Sperry and Aaron Sperry; and four great-grandchildren.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard; and five siblings.

The family will receive friends 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Combest Family Funeral Homes. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Rosehill Cemetery in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
