Mozelle Vestal of Lubbock, formerly O'Donnell, passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2012 at the age of 82. She was born September 9, 1929 in Jayton to George Calvin and Ruby (Gage) Wilson. Mozelle graduated from O'Donnell High School and went on to attend Draughn's Business College in Lubbock. She married Kenneth E. Vestal on November 20, 1948. Mozelle was a homemaker and loving mother to her children. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in O'Donnell.

Those left to cherish her memory are three sons, Kenneth Dan and wife Glenda of O'Donnell, Steve and wife Peggy of Monahans, and Robby of Lubbock; two sisters, Joyce Smith of Gail and Freda Hawkins and husband Kim of Lamesa; ten grandchildren, Brad Williams and wife Amy of O'Donnell, April Dye and husband Cody and Jalyn Wall and husband Ronny, all of Lubbock, Juli Hobbs and husband Jim Bob of Ridgeway, CO, Kaci Vestal of Brownfield, Michelle Grove and husband Rich of Big Spring, Kenneth Vestal and wife Casey of Odessa, Jason Russ and Ben Russ, both of Monahans, and Miranda Henderson and husband Kevin of College Station; 16 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Mozelle was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth on June 27, 1993; brother, Wayne Wilson; and a great-grandson, James Kenneth Williams.

Visitation in Lubbock will be at the funeral home, 2210 Broadway, from 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 with the family receiving friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Visitation in O'Donnell will begin at 10:00 a.m. to noon on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church. Services will begin at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at the O'Donnell Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Euin Vestal, Monte Smith, Brad Williams, Cody Dye, Ronny Wall, Ben Russ, Jim Bob Hobbs, Rich Grove, and Jason Russ. Honorary pallbearers will be Wymia Barnes, Virginia Thompson, Gene Singleton, Rilda Moore, and Burley and Bertha Brewer.
