She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Alice (Callaham) Gillespie; and by Lena Smith Chiddix; and her husband Fred Gerald (Fuzzy) Moore in 1995.

A visitation will be from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Combest Family Funeral Homes, O’Donnell. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 26, 2021 at First Baptist Church O’Donnell with burial to follow at O’Donnell Cemetery.

Retha, Mrs. Moore, was my dear friend and confidant for 30 years. She was an amazing woman of faith. She loved with her whole heart and never passed judgment. Her friendship and support meant the world to me. I will miss her dearly.

Retha was a lovely lady and a wonderful friend to me and my family. I enjoyed visiting with her on my trips to San Antonio and several times when she came to Alabama with my folks. She will always hold a very special place in my heart! Much love, Kathy Ernst Gross
