Patricia Ann Corley Cook of Tahoka departed this life on August 17, 2010 at the age of 66 years. She was born in Lubbock, Texas on December 24, 1943, to J.W. & Ruth (Grider) Corley. Pat graduated from Magee High School, Magee, Mississippi in 1962. Pat married Lynn Cook on September 15, 1962 in Tahoka, Texas. Pat devoted her life to her family, her kitchen was always open. She cooked then hunted someone to feed. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. Nana was their greatest cheerleader and coach. She enjoyed fishing and playing cards.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Lynn of Tahoka; her mother Ruth and Al Pelton of Tahoka; step mother: Modean Corley of Midland, Texas; one daughter: Mistie Kahl and husband Kent of Tahoka; one son Rusty Cook and wife Mandy of Tahoka; seven grandchildren: Trevor, Corlee, Chance, Amanda, Trace, M'Lin and Kash.

Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by one daughter Dustie Bollman and her father J. W. Corley.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 18, 2010, 6-8p.m. at White Funeral Home in Tahoka Celebration of Life Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 19, 2010, at First Baptist Church in Tahoka, TX with Rev. Gloria Moore and Rev. Lynn Long officiating

Rusty,
I am so sorry to hear your mother passed away. Pat was always so kind to me and made me feel so welcome in her home. She was such a blessing to everyone who knew her. I am sure that she and Dusty are watching over all of you now. Many prayers and blessings to all of you.
