Jack Ralph Jett of Lubbock passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the age of 73. He was born May 26, 1945 in Plainview to Henry and Louise (Kee) Jett. He married Shirley Flowers on March 18, 1978 in Lubbock. Jack was self-employed his entire life. He worked as a TV repairman for many years before becoming a truck driver and tire service repairman for more than 20 years. They were members of Southside Church of Christ.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Shirley; children, Patty Gregory and husband Brian of Kiamesha Lake, New York, Betty Moore and husband Jerry, Bubba Jett and wife Kristin, and Freddie Joe Thoms, Jr. and wife Louise, all of Lubbock; siblings, Doris Hill and Vernon Jett; 16 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Margret Lemons, Kenneth Jett, Billy Jo Jett, J. C. Jett, Billy Jett, and Mildred Jett Richards; sons, Kenneth Ralph Jett and Gary Wayne Jett; and great-granddaughter, Abigail Moore.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Combest Family Funeral Homes with the family receiving friends 5:00-7:00 p.m. Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2019 at Combest Family Funeral Homes with interment to follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery.

My dear grandpa that I love and miss so deeply. I will remember all the good times we had together and all the things you taught me as a young child growing into a young man. You was such a huge inspiration and you impacted my life in so many ways that I will carry and live on everything you taugh me. I love you Pa so much you go rest with the angels of God and we shall soon meet again. Until then watch over Nana and all the kids and no that you will always live in my heart and mind until the last days of my life. I love you Pa 😘❤️😢
