Jerry Dennis Lillard of Slaton passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at the age of 62. He was born January 16, 1956. Jerry grew up in East Texas and retired from the United States Navy after 21 years of service. After honorable discharge he made his home in West Texas where he worked for the Denim Factory in Littlefield as an air conditioning serviceman.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Brenda Conner; step-children, Machele and husband Bryan Reed of Tallahassee, Florida, John Poyner of Lubbock, Catrina Poyner of Ropesville; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Jerry was preceded in death by two step-sons, James and Festus Poyner.

Memorial services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Bible Baptist Church, 525 West Panhandle in Slaton.

Lord, I ask you humbly to be with Jerry's family, to give them strength and comfort through this time of mourning, sorrow, and sadness. Lord I ask you to wrap your arms around his family and friends, give them comfort Lord. Unspoken prayers for Brenda as she has been through so much in the past several years.
