Dalton Bice, 72 of Lubbock, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019. He was born in Eagletown, Oklahoma November 10, 1946 to Aubrey Lorus and Dorothy Marie Bice. Dalton served in the U.S. Navy and was a Vietnam Veteran. He married Sheila Dye on July 5, 1983. He was retired from Logging, crushing cars, coaching his kids and grandsons in baseball and many years of Carpentry work.
Dalton is survived by his four loving kids, Kandice Lynn and husband Cody Stockman, Ken Bice, Johnny Bice all of Lubbock, and Travis Middlebrooks Bice and fiance Shelbi Ferris of Arizona; three grandsons, Slyder Brooks, Stetsyn Ray and C.J.; one granddaughter, Harlow Bice; one brother, Travis Bice of Lynden, Washington; one sister, Sheila Sanders of Lubbock and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Sheila Bice; his father, Aubrey Bice; and his mother, Dorothy Slack.
He is Superman in each of our eyes. But the most cherished name we called him was Daddy. We each have stories that we will keep sharing of the "Strongest Man" we loved so very much.
There will be a private gathering for the family.
