This man made my day more than once . From awesome paint job on my tangerine ‘59 and the best jerky you could eat . I feel bad for anyone that never met him , as he would have been a life long friend .
My Uncle Mack introduced us 30 + years ago ( they were great friends as well )
I would like to see a video of all the cars and trucks he fixed . Especially the big rigs . It would be days long I am sure .
Go in peace Brother .
Much Love

I have so many good memories of you and our families together when we were much younger and I'm so glad we connected again through Facebook. I looked up to as an older cousin and thought you were the best. You were funny and playful, even with a bratty, younger cousin. Sharing a memory, a story and pictures through FB let me "share" in your life again and I'm grateful. I got to see pictures of your beautiful wife and love, Lisa, and your kids and grandkids. You are loved. I'll get to see you again in heaven. Until we meet again... Love you!

You always had a great sense of humor and made some awesome BBQ. My brothers and I all thought we were tall until we stood next to you. Karina and I were so happy to visit you a couple of weeks ago. May you rest in peace now.

My Daddy was the absolute best man I’ve ever known and the sun hasn’t shone quite the same since he left. He taught me so much in life and I am eternally grateful that God blessed me with him. One day, I’ll see him again. Til then, I’ll be watching for the sun to shine like it used to. I love you, Daddy.

STANDKE was a very good friend to me ,I had a lifetime of respect and admiration for Dave I valued his opinion on many aspects and thought of him like a second father, I enjoyed very much hanging out drinking as many beers as we could .listening to his stories/ life experiences shooting guns and laughing. I'm truly gonna miss you Dave STANDKE and I'm honored and proud to have had the opportunity and pleasure to have you as a friend/ brother until we cross paths again my friend . Much love and respect to his beautiful wife Lisa Standke.
