Mildred Ann Hall, 83, of Tahoka passed away on Friday, August 23, 2019. At a young age, the family moved to Tahoka where Mildred attended school. She worked at the Tahoka Police Department and Lynn County Sheriff’s Office for 40 years before retiring. She served as a dispatcher, jailer, cook, and kitchen supervisor. She was of the Baptist Faith.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Donna Kay (Dewayne) Schuknecht of White River Lake, Jo Ann Hall and Dorothy Camille Quintero, both of Tahoka; son, Thomas Melvin (Buddy) Hall of Tahoka; sisters, Tomi Engle and Pat Bingham both of Tahoka; six grandchildren, Lane (Amy) Schuknecht, Jeremy Hall, Joshua Terry, Chelsea(Joe) Brevard, Candice (Jeremy) Acosta, and Kayla Quintero; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Gene Hall; daughter, Vera Lucille Terry; parents, Thomas Milton (Mitty) and Vera Lee Phillips; and sister, Jo (Mammy) Swinford.
Memorial services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Sweet Street Baptist Church in Tahoka.
