Wanda Lee Pulliam, 82 of Lubbock passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2019. A beloved mother, wife and grandmother, she was born August 26, 1937 to Marvin and Cordelia (Shawhart) Cariker in Durant, Oklahoma. Wanda graduated from Lubbock High School. She married the love of her life, Carl Pulliam in 1989 in Lubbock. She worked for many years at various Lubbock restaurants including the Lubbock Inn and the Ranch House Restaurant. She also worked as a caregiver at a local retirement home until her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and one sister.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Carl; one daughter, Kristye (Lee) Reid of Lubbock; one son, Randy Simpson of Lubbock; step-daughter, Shellie (Ricky) Willis of Lubbock; six grandchildren, Alecia Claxton, Jared Simpson, Aaron Simpson, Matt Simpson, Natasha Simpson and Daniel Simpson; and 10 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 30. 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Combest Family Memorial Chapel. The family invites you to join them for a come and go reception following the service until 6 pm at 5420 83rd St.
