Kathryn Ann Hollaway, 75, of Seminole, passed away October 28, 2019. Kathryn was born March 25, 1944 in Dalhart, Tx, to Robert Stewart and Wynona Prutsman. Kathryn graduated from Spearman high school and attended nursing school. She married Arthur Hollaway January 25, 1969. She worked in home health care her entire life and had a passion to care for the elderly. She was a member of Seminole Baptist church and volunteered for meals on wheels when time allowed. She knew no strangers and helped people and animals in need. She helped Patricia in a time of need, and they grew a lifetime friendship.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Arthur; her four sons, Nathan (Kristie) Gilmore of Lubbock, Peeler (Rhonda) Hollaway of Seminole, Quinton (Melissa) Hollaway of Missouri, and Clinton Hollaway of Lubbock; three sisters, Robbie Stewart of Amarillo, Janice (Monty) Rowell and Michelle Sturgis all of Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Chase (Brittani) Gilmore, Chelsea (Jordan) Collinsworth, Brian Hollaway, and Vanessa Hollaway; two great-grandchildren, Bradley Hollaway and Kaden VonBerg.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Family will be receiving friends Tuesday October 29, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Combest Family Memorial Chapel. A service will be held Wednesday, October 30th at 2:00 p.m. at Combest Family Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery.
