Kenneth Glenn Scott of Tahoka passed away on Monday, November 18, 2019 at the age of 75. He was born October 25, 1944 in Tahoka to the late WP and Walter Pearl (Phillips) Scott. Kenneth graduate from Tahoka High School and went on to graduate from Texas Tech University in 1968 with his Agriculture Business degree. He returned to Tahoka where he farmed until retiring.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 22 years, Marquita; children, Tracye Swafford of Lamesa, Kenneth Trent Scott and wife Donnis of Lubbock, Michael Qualls and wife Kalyn of Jacksboro, and Matthew Qualls of Houston; and two sisters, Joan Billings of Seagraves and Wilma Faust of Las Vegas. Best known as “Grumpy”, Kenneth also leaves behind his six grandchildren, Cambrie and Laynie Swafford, Raymie and Kendon Scott, and Blake and Kameron Qualls.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Combest Family Funeral Homes with the family receiving friends 5:30-7:30 p.m. Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Sweet Street Baptist Church with interment to follow at Nevels Memorial Cemetery.
