Muriel Audrey Parker of Tahoka passed away on Friday, November 22, 2019 at the age of 86. She was born May 30, 1933 in Cabool, Missouri to Lemuel Chester and Frances Alice (Thomas) Roberts. Audrey had a variety of jobs throughout her life. She was a wing-walker and window model during the war, milk-route driver, seamstress for notable companies such as Lee, Key and Nelly Don, a successful insurance agent and worked for the Nevada State Hospital. Her hobbies included traveling, dancing, singing and fishing. She also enjoyed playing Bingo and collecting dolls.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Logan Harrison and Frances Truehart of Tahoka; brother, Lemuel Chester “Buddy” Roberts, Jr. of Warsaw, Missouri; four grandchildren, Darya Collins, Bryan Bennett, Jamie Pike, and Sara Bogart; and eight great-grandchildren.
Audrey was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Mary Bennett; two siblings, Chestine Brown and Allen Roberts; and granddaughter, Terra Alvarez.
Private services will be held at a later date.
