Kenneth Jerry Gott, 88, of Lubbock passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2020. He was born in Lela, Texas, September 19, 1931, to William Henry and Cleo (Pike) Gott. Kenneth grew up in the Shamrock area and graduated from Shamrock High School. He married Naomi Kilbourne on May 1, 1970 in Hereford. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy and fought in the Korean Conflict. Kenneth moved to Lubbock in January 1972 where he established his own heating and air conditioning service. He was a member of Veterans Affair, American Legion, Veterans of Foreign War, NAFTA, Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES) and the NRA. Kenneth was also a member of Kings Ridge Church of Christ.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 49 years, Naomi of Lubbock; daughter, Kim Mills and husband Jack of Lubbock; two brothers, Perry Gott of Cleburne and Billy Gott of Plano; two grandchildren, Christopher Mills of Abilene and Kathryn Mills of Orlando.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mae Jett.

Visitation will be held 3:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Combest Family Memorial Chapel with family receiving friends between 5:00-7:00 p.m. Celebration of Life services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Combest Family Memorial Chapel with interment to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.

So sorry to hear of Ken's passing....I have know Kenneth since 1952 when we served together during the Korean war.....Ken and I were aboard the USS Grasp and served in the engineering department....We always kept in touch with one another, and my wife and I considered Ken and Naomi our friends. He was a fine upstanding guy of high morals and was well respected on our ship. II will miss him!.....Leo L Grizzaffi, Sr Morgan City, LA
