Raul Martinez, Jr. of O'Donnell passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at the age of 61. He was born October 28, 1958 in Lubbock to Raul and Segunda Martinez, Sr. As a young adult, Raul moved to O'Donnell where he made his home. He worked as a welder in Lamesa. Raul was a Dallas Cowboy fan and enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters.

For more than 10 years, Raul has been with his devoted companion and love of his life, Eva Cantu. He is also survived by his sons, Carlos Raul Martinez and Eric Morris Martinez, both of Lubbock; mother, Segunda Martinez, of Mission, Texas; siblings, Janie Salazar of Blanco, Texas and Juan Martinez and wife Maria and Thomas Martinez and wife Cynthia, all of Mission, Texas; and granddaughters, Rheagan A. Martinez and Rhea A. Martinez.

Raul was preceded in death by his father, Raul Martinez, Sr.

Memorial services will be scheduled for a later date.

So sorry to hear about the loss of Raul. After years of working with our dad Jimmy My brother and I always claimed him as our uncle and he would call us his niece and nephew. We have such great memories of him. Our hearts are broken. We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.
