I feel very sad for my older brother's death; a long time ago, when I was a little kid, he was a second father to me: he took me to the park, to the bull fights, and took me on vacations to the beach; I lived with him in Brownsville, Tx for 14 months when I attended school there; the last time I saw him in person was back in 2009 when he visited Juarez; I planned to visit him in 2020, but this ugly pandemic made it impossible to go. My condolences to his ex wife and children. Love, Iñigo

Herrera family,
My heart is broken learning about the passing of Mr. Herrera. It's been my true honor to be a part of his care at the VA clinic for the last 5 years. He had the most amazing spirit and positive attitude of any person I've ever met. He always greeted me with a, "hey, mija!" and a warm smile or hug. I will miss him quite a bit.
I pray that God grants peace to your family during this time, may he wrap his loving arms around you.

I will miss seeing Rudy at church. I just love him, he has such a sweet spirit.
I am sure he is visiting with all his veteran buddies and family now that he is home with his Heavenly Father.
