Tyler Ryan Mannino, 25, of Lubbock passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2020 in Lubbock. Tyler was born on February 12, 1995 in Lubbock to Benjamin B. Mannino, Jr. and Gina Gayle Goolsby Mannino. He was raised in Lubbock and graduated from Lubbock Cooper High School in 2014. He had played little league baseball and enjoyed woodworking in high school. He loved to collect guns, ride and work on his motorcycles, work on his Tahoe, which was from his mother, watering his trees at his home, and riding the buggy. He had worked as a manager for Champion Car Wash in Plainview and was currently a manager at Mighty Car Wash. His family and friends knew him as “The Walrus” and he was always trying to help them out. He was fun, playful, loved to joke around, and had a huge and giving heart. He was a Christian and loved spending time with his dog, Marley.
Tyler is survived by his father, Ben Mannino, Jr. and fiancee’, Casey Brazeal, of Lubbock, sister, Alecia Thorne and husband, Chris, of Amarillo, nephew, Brylan Thorne of Amarillo, grandfather, Jack Spafford of Idalou, aunts and uncles, Joy and Mike Johnson of Lubbock, Rose Mannino of Lubbock, Robert and Susan Feasel of Bedford, Jeremy Feasel of Idalou, several great aunts and uncles, 12 cousins, and several second cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gina Mannino, and grandparents, Ben Mannino, Sr., Jane Mannino, and Donna Spafford.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life at 10:30 AM Friday, July 31, 2020 at Aldersgate Church, 10306 Indiana Avenue, in Lubbock. Interment will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 – 6 PM on Thursday at Combest Family Funeral Homes, 2210 Broadway, in Lubbock. Please visit www.combestfamilyfuneralhomes.com for more information.

I'm glad that I have had the opportunity to visit and always keep in touch over the years, most recently in spring 2014. It was such a pleasure to meet Tyler and seeing a reflection of you in him. Words can not describe the loss you are feeling but through God, we can find comfort through these moments. Big hug for you brother!
