Kenneth Ralph Greenleaf, best known as Pappy, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020 at the age of 79. He was born February 1, 1941 in Easton, Pennsylvania. At the age of 17, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he served in the Vietnam Conflict. After 22 Β½ years Ken retired as a MCMM in San Diego, California. It was there that he met and later married Diane Wood on February 16, 1980. He went on to obtain his GED and graduated from Weatherford College in Mineral Wells with his Business and Criminal Justice degree. He worked for Hartford Steam Boiler and Inspection Company as a code inspector. Through them he was employed by Perry Equipment in Mineral Wells before relocating to Lubbock in 1991 where he was employed at Manchester Tank. Ken was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Diane; children, Peggy Greenleaf, Kennetih R. Greenleaf, Jr. and wife Karen, Cassie Tillman and husband Clark, Rick Wallace and wife Ginger, Dana Pena and husband Roger, and Lena Myers and husband Eddie; siblings, Sondra Penaresi, Keith Greenleaf, Marie Greenleaf, Kim Swift, Greg Greenleaf, and Lisa Clement; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Edith Greenleaf; one son, Randy Greenleaf in 1986; and six siblings.

Military inurnment will take place at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 21, 2020 at the DFW National Cemetery. A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2020 at the VFW in Mineral Wells.
