Virginia Ann O’Neall, 84 of Lubbock passed away Saturday, August 29, 2020. She was born November 16, 1935 to Oscar Emil and Tennie Adela (Grimland) Nelson in Garza County. Virginia graduated from Lubbock High School and attended Texas Tech University. She married Hubert Benton O’Neall, Jr. May 2, 1958. Virginia worked as an insurance agent. She loved painting, coloring pictures, crossword puzzles, and reading any novel by John Grisham.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Conni Marcum and husband Eddie, Bryan O’Neall and wife Gilda; nine grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben in 1994; two sons, Stephen and Rex; her parents; and three siblings.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00a.m. Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Combest Family Memorial Chapel.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations in Virginia’s name be made to the Dementia Society of America, P.O. Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901.
