Placido "Tino" Bustos, 76, left us on November 12, 2020. Tino was born August 11, 1944 in Donna, Texas.

Tino is survived by his wife, Adelita Bustos; his children, Victor, Laura, Ralph, Roy; sister, Maria "Chacha"; brother, Jose; and numerous grandkids and great grandkids.

He is preceded in death by his mom, Braulia; his father, Luciano; and his brother, Victor.

Tino was a devoted husband and enjoyed traveling and going to casinos. He was twice retired, but still kept working. He enjoyed making jokes with his grandkids and never failed to leave a smile on your face. He will be deeply missed by his many friends, family and all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at the Venue on Broadway, 2202 Broadway. Flowers, donations and condolences may be offered in Tino’s name to the Venue on Broadway, 2202 Broadway.

O grandpa Tino how I'm gonna miss u so much u always wanted to keep my fat boy haha u would tell him if he stayed u had an xbox in ur room for him or how we would leave and u would say see u next year I'm gonna miss that so much all the laughs all the drives to were ever y'all wanted u me and grandma and when grandma was gone u would still pick me up to go for a ride around the lake I love u so much and sorry if I never really said it but may u rest easy and hopefully chicken legs was at the gate ready to say hi RIP Tino rest easy in heaven

Oh Grandpa Tino, I can’t wrap my head around you being gone, it is hard to be in the house without you. I keep hoping you walk in the door. JJ said he’s going to miss playing with you. Tino was my uncle. I would like to express my condolences to the family. This is a difficult time for everyone. My favorite memory of Uncle Tino was when he let me wax his car. I used the entire bottle of wax! He was not happy about that, but I learned how to wax a car and most important: use less wax!
