Jacinto Ochoa Lopez, 65, of Lubbock passed away on January 2, 2021. He was born August 17, 1955 in General Trias, Chihuahua, Mexico to Feliciano and Socorro (Ochoa) Lopez. Jacinto lived in Mexico until the age of 12 when he came to the United States. He married Delfina Castillo on June 30, 1987 and they became a blended family but he treated everyone as his own family. Jacinto was a hard worker and worked as a farm hand, but he was always working in the house, on the car or in the yard. He had a heart of gold and was always a jokester with those around him. Jacinto taught his daughters to be self-sufficient and instilled in them a work ethic that encouraged them to be successful on their own.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Delfina of Lubbock; daughters, Maggie Martinez (David Henderson) of Lubbock, Elva Montoya (Eduardo) of Lubbock, Ivonne Lopez (Kau Philmon) of Dumas, Marisol Lopez of Lorenzo, Sarah Blythe (Philip) of Spring, Pearl McCaddon (Jerome) of Lubbock, Priscilla Tarango (Saul) of Hereford, Cynthia Castillo of Lubbock and Karyzza Lopez (Damian Moreno) of Lubbock; sisters, Sofia Nevarez and Maria De Jesus Garcia; brothers, Feliciano Lopez, Ismael Lopez and Normando Lopez; 24 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 9-11 AM at Combest Family Memorial Chapel with private family services to follow. Interment will be held in Crosbyton Cemetery.
