Kathy Denise Evans of Lubbock passed away on January 5, 2021. She was born to Madison Charles and Carole (Marcy) Evans on November 29, 1964 in Lubbock. Kathy graduated from Plainview High School in 1983. She worked as a school crossing guard in several area schools. Kathy loved to travel. She collected all forms of southwest décor. She was an avid reader and movie watcher of unexplained phenomenon and thought Harry Potter was the best literature ever written.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Carole Damron and husband, Jim of Lubbock; Barbara Evans of Shallowater; sister, Sherry Evans of Lubbock; brother, Connor Evans and wife, Shana of Austin; sister, Stephanie McCall and husband, Lee of Shallowater and brother, Mark Bell of Austin. She is also survived by Duane Damron and wife, Meriva of Lubbock and Kim Damron of Dallas.
She was preceded in death by her father.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2021 from 1pm until 3pm at the Oakcrest Suite at Combest Family Funeral Homes. Facial coverings are required at the visitation.
