We were so sad to hear of Ray passing. He was fun to visit with and just being around. I remember him working with daddy when I was little. He stayed with us for awhile. I'm sure he and daddy are having a good time visiting and laughing. We all loved him. He will be missed by so many. Prayers for Peggy, Wesley, Brian and Krissy.

I speak for our entire family when I say that Ray was very special to us! He was more like a brother than a cousin! He was like a son to my Daddy and I know they are catching up on a lot of visiting in Heaven. Ray was an American hero and we are thankful for the service he gave to our country! We love you, Peggy, Wesley, Brian, Krissy and all of your family. May God bless each of you with a peace that passes all understanding!

Uncle Ray will be greatly missed. I never met anyone who had I'll words to say about Uncle Ray. He was a man who had strong core values. Family always came first. As a kid and an adult if I heard that he and Aunt Peggy we're coming to see mom I would drop what I had going to go visit with them and listen to Uncle Rays new stories. He is at the hand of god now R.I.P Uncle Ray.

As you know I’m far for loss of words. However after claiming Honey my boyfriend for 34 years we grew up together raising our kids and stood by his side watching him beat so so many scary times in his health excepting he was a cat with 9 lives but it was always due to the love he had for his family. I feel in my heart GOD said enough. Time to Rest. Now he’s with those he’s lost and watching us and I’ll still call him My Honey

30+ years later, it’s still one of my clearest set of memories. Peggy making sandwiches, choice words, and pure love; terrified Brian would find out we played with his hot wheels cars, Wesley the oldest kid we knew, Kristena like another sister, and Ray getting home before we left, sitting in the living room and joking. Terrified of dobermans...the porch... I was young, and my memories are less a memory and more a feeling. That house was pure love. I am very sorry for your loss, and so lucky to have known Ray. Great man.
