My condolences to the family. Dan was my first Captain when I joined TABC. He was great to work for and quite inspiring. Loved having the pleasure of knowing knowing Dan and have always respected and admired his leadership. A great man who has touched many lives and will be sorely missed. Thank you Captain Cullers for your perfect example of leadership and how we should treat others. You’ll never be forgotten in my household. Rest easy, sir. You fought the good fight.

My heart goes out to this sweet special family, knowing how much you all will miss Dan. My prayers are with you as you learn a new normal. Time will take away the sting, and you will have a life-long loss, but memories will become sweeter. After working with Dan for 20 some odd years, I can truly say he was a noble man.

Greta and family,
Words fail me to tell you how much I love you. It has been my deepest pleasure knowing Dan. He and John were such good friends and lunch buddies. After John passed away Dan came to see me and just have coffee and talk. I cherish that time. I loved being asked to stay with him while you had your Christmas tour. He was so ill then and then got better and stronger. God granted him extra time to love you all and tell you how proud he was of each of you.
May God’s peace surround you and hold you tight.
