Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Paula in 2012; and brother, Alton “Pete” Brown.

Jerry was a good, and gentle man, always with a smile. He cared for people and I counted him as my softball friend. We will miss you. God bless your family with peace and remembrance of the good times.

My Uncle Jerry was just that an Uncle. He lived how he loved with an open heart. He never asked for anything. He was about getting a job done. Most of the jobs were helping people around him. I asked him once why help those who were mean and disrespectful. He told me “we can chose to be like everyone else or show them love and be who we are” . it reminds me of what my dad would say “make the world better for the people you love not for yourself” .. my DAD and uncle Jerry were always together when I was young. I know uncle Jerry is in a better place and Dad (Felix G Adams) is with him.
I know when he got to heven he said “knock knock anybody here” .. AS a kid I knew when Joe , JJ and uncle Jerry had arrived with that simple “knock knock anybody here”..
Humility and love are what I think of when I think of Uncle Jerry .. he never in my life showed me hate just love and honesty.
See you when I see you Uncle Jerry

Jerry was such a sincere and loyal friend. He had an air about him that you just wanted to be a part of. We coached a lot of kids together and he really knew the game well. Boy could he get you to laughing just by hearing his laugh. Jerry you left your mark on this world and I am lucky to have known you. See you big guy!
