James Preston Frost (aka Taz), 59 of Lubbock was called Home Sunday, April 11, 2021. He is free of all pain and now at peace. He was born August 3, 1961 to James Roy and Linda Gayle (Kreger) Frost in Lubbock. James graduated from Idalou High School in 1979. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars and especially loved people and life. James was a RV technician for several years and a Jack of all trades. He was a man with a big heart willing to help anyone. James always looked for the good in people. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby; his Mother, Linda Gayle Frost; as well as his sister, Theresa Frost and husband Curtis Young; his sons Scott Frost and wife Jennifer, and Cory Frost; his step-children, Ashley and husband Lane, Christa, Deanna and husband Tyler, and Torey; 12 grandchildren, that loved their papa very much; nephews, Michael, Chase; niece, Courtney; 12 great-nephews and nieces; his very Best friend, Whiskers; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

James loved life and lived it to his fullest with all his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his dad, James Roy Frost.

In lieu of flowers, James’s family is asking for donations to be made to Hospice of Lubbock.
