Elizabeth Isabel Bastardo, 63 of Lubbock passed away Monday, June 7, 2021. She was born December 26, 1957 to Guillermo and Antonia (Rodriguez) Garcia in Hale Center, Texas. After graduating from high school, Elizabeth received her associate degree in Business Administration. She married David Bastardo February 18, 2006 in Lubbock after being together for nine years. Elizabeth worked in the billing department for University Medical Center for 6 years. She loved her family, and especially spending time and loving on her grandchildren. Elizabeth liked going on trips, fishing, gardening and joking around. She was of the Catholic faith. Elizabeth was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She will be deeply missed.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 15 years, David Bastardo; children, Brandy Magnini (Mitch) of Lubbock, Keith Alen Guzman (Heather Thompson) of Idaho, Oscar Degollado (Alice) of Floydada, and Benita Valdez also of Floydada; siblings, Joe Garcia (Janie) of Spade, Gloria Applegate (Bo) of Pampa, Susie Garcia, Barbara Garcia, David Garcia (Melissa), Tammy Delacruz (Willie), Adam Garcia (Juanita), and Henry Garcia (Anita) all of Anton; eleven grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Guillermo and Antonia; three siblings, Richard Garcia, Eve Gossett, and Aurora Reyes.

Visitation will begin at noon with rosary to be cited at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Combest Family Memorial Chapel. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 11, 2021 at Combest Family Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
