Beverly Cook of Lubbock passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021 at the age of 67. She was born December 25, 1953 in Lubbock to George and Mary Kathryn (Jones) Tate. She graduated from Monterey High School and owned a daycare for many years. Growing up, Beverly enjoyed barrel racing and participating in the rodeo. She worked at MLK Bingo for more than 25 years.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Kimberly Jones and husband Austin and Kelli Dickson and husband Justin, all of Lubbock; and three grandchildren, Ainsley, Brady and Kate. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Jennifer Tate in 2015.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Combest Family Memorial Chapel with services at 11:00 a.m. The family has requested that masks be worn and services will be livestreamed on this webpage.

The family wishes to express a special thank you to Wilshire Place and Hospice of Lubbock for the love and care they have given their mom.

It was a beautiful Service and I thank you for the opportunity to view online. Your Mom was loved by us all and will be so missed. Just her presence in a room always had you laughing. She is resting in peace now with no more pain. You will see her again. The Lord truly does take the best. I always try to remember that our loss on earth is our loved ones gain in Heaven. ❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏
