Aunt Clare, go generous and loving. She sat with me numerous times at the hospital after I had surgery. She recorded bible readings for my mom who was vision impaired and had trouble reading at times. We would get together and have bible study. She bought me my dress I got married in, a simple dress but one that I wore to church almost every Sunday after that. She was always willing to listen to me and give words of encouragement. I still have her message on my voicemail because I get comfort hearing her voice when I miss her. I still read her last letter she sent me. I loved her calling me LaNitra Ann, because she loved me. It was either LaNitra Ann or LaNitra Honey.....I can hear her. She refinished my grandmothers sewing machine and taught me while she worked. She taught me how to sew some gowns for my grandmother/her mom lol. She made the robes and I made the gowns. There are so many memories. Thank you for those memories and life lessons.

Aunt Clare , there are no words to describe how deeply I love you. The hole in my heart is a void only God can fill with beautiful memories of the fun times we had together. I will always remember you coming to say good night with your head scarf on and your purse on your arm. I asked you where were you going. I still smile at that. Or when us kids did something to make you mad and your black eyes started snapping like Sudie's. We knew we were in trouble.
Until we see each other again......I love you Clare
