Melody Pesina, 41 of Lubbock, Texas went to heaven to lead the heavenly choir on Saturday, September 11, 2021. Melody was born February 15, 1980, in Memphis, Texas to Sarah Martin (Tillman) and Phillip Ramirez. Melody attended and graduated Frenship High School in 1998. Melody married the love of her life Eddie Pesina on October 16, 2006. Their love for each other and dedication to the Lord led them to travel in order for Melody to pursue her Gospel music, as well as spreading the word of her Savior. Melody was a devoted mother of 4 children. She spent most of her days home schooling her children, writing her music and lifting anyone and everyone up in prayer. Melody worked many jobs to help ends meet, she was currently an Uber driver. Melody currently attended Covenant Life Fellowship Church- Lubbock.

Loved ones include her husband, Eddie Pesina; mother, Sarah Tillman and husband, Tommy Tillman; father, Phillip Ramirez; her children Maxine Ramirez, Aroara Ramirez, Fabien Pesina, and Jacob Pesina; sisters, Hollie O’Neil and Rachel Ramirez; brother, Shannon Rice and wife Amanda; and 17 nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Christian Life Assembly of God, located at 5917 66th street. The service will be officiated by Greg McCowen.

Melody is one of my closest and dearest Sisters she will be greatly missed but yet never ever forgotten ❤ My heart is so heavy knowing that I will never be able to laugh and talk with her again.
