Cylathia Annelle Daniel passed from this life on Wednesday September 8, 2021 in Lubbock, Texas after a short illness. Cylathia was born on April 2. 1961 to Robert McKinley Daniel and Wynelle Beasley Daniel. She taught in several of the Lubbock Independent School District schools during her career. Her favorite classes were for Special Needs students. She received her first Texas Educator Certificate in 1993 to teach the Hearing Impaired, Grades PK-12. In 1999 she received her Certification to teach Generic Special Education and Early Childhood Education. In 2002 Cylathia was employed by the U.S. Department of Defense where she taught Military dependents in Okinawa, Japan for two Years. Returning to Lubbock to further her education where she received her Doctor of Education Degree from Texas Tech University in 2008 in Special Education.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Cylathia is survived by her Husband, Charles Sullivan by her Sister Mary Pyles, Cousins: Tom and Barbara Almon, Plainview, TX, Kenneth and Doris Eaton, Amarillo, TX, Billie Louise and Sylvia Pollock, Lubbock, TX and Tera Scarbrough, Washington.
A wake will be held at a later date.

My condolences to the family. So sorry to know that Cylathia has passed. She was a very intelligent young lady and could talk about everything of interest to her and others. She was an enjoyable person to have around. Mary, I know you will miss your sister. All my sisters will be here for you like alway. We will all miss her dearly.
