Amalia “Molly” R. Armenta quietly entered eternal rest on Friday, September 24, 2021, side by side and hand in hand with the love of her life Ricardo “Ricky” E. Armenta. They were both surrounded by their loving families. After a brief illness.. “To be absent from the body is to present with the lord.” 2 Corinthians 5:8.

Molly was known for her beautiful wide eyes and her warm, welcoming smile, she never met a stranger. Molly served as an inspiration to many, her strong faith and devotion to God made her a beacon of love and hope to everyone around her as she battled cancer multiple times throughout her life. Molly was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her sense of humor and compassion for others will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Billy Jack Armenta, Sr.; Daughter, Ashley Nicole Armenta-Lopez and Abraham; 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; Brothers, Jessie Ray Ramirez, Sr. (Cecilia), and Randy Ramirez (Priscilla); and Sister, Meliza R. Martinez (Adam).
She was immediately preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Ricardo E. Armenta; Parents, Agustine Ramirez and Odelia M. Ramirez.

Pallbearers will be Jessie Ray Ramirez, Jr., Sergio Ramirez, Eric Martinez, Randy Anthony Ramirez, Rafael Pimentel, Michael Perez, Jr., and Rick Trevino, Jr.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at the Venue on Broadway. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 30, 2021 at City of Lubbock Cemetery with Pastor Shane Russell of Lubbock officiating.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7.

“It’s not a goodbye, Molly, it’s a see you later, when we meet again in my father’s house with many mansions.”

Molly, I'm still in shock to hear of your passing. You and I went to Arnett, Alderson and then Estacado. I really enjoyed our friendship ❤. May you rest in peace.
