Patricia Ann (Koemel) Anderson went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, October 5th, 2021. Pat was born August 5, 1932 to Walter Koemel and Clara Steiger Koemel in Robstown, Texas. She graduated from Lamesa High School and attended Texas Tech. She married Tom Anderson in 1951. Pat worked in a bank in New Mexico until she and Tom opened a gift shop in Santa Fe. Pat enjoyed meeting people and selling beautiful handmade Indian jewelry, pottery, and rugs. After moving to Lubbock in the 70’s, she joined the Embroiderer’s Guild, then the Miniaturist of Lubbock and the Antiques and Collectors clubs. She was an artist in many different mediums. Pat was very active in the Lubbock Christian University Associates and was awarded the Rising Star award in 2007. She also ran their gift shop for seven years.

Pat loved God and her church. Her faith was very important to her.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her siblings.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sister-in-law, Amy Baldridge (David) of Sharpsburg, Georgia; nieces, Melanie (Bill) Waugaman of Monument, Colorado, Jamie Rogers of Lubbock, Texas, Sarah (Matt) Husemann of Dover, Delaware, Angela Baldridge of San Diego, California, Kathy (Jim) Bishop of Syracuse, Utah, Karen (Reed) Munson, of Escalante, Utah, Marilyn (George) Knighton of Woods Cross, Utah, Cherise (Craig) Felty of Big Springs, Texas and Patti Koemel of Lubbock, Texas; nephews, Jim McEwen (Regena) of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Ron McEwen of Woods Cross, Utah, Andy Baldridge of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Jape Pritchard of Lubbock, Texas, and Daniel (Shannon) Baldridge; and many friends, including Sandy and Doug Bell of Lubbock.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, October 29th at 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Church of Christ, 3723 34th Street, Lubbock.
