Kay Gandy, 61, of Tahoka, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021. She was born on May 10, 1960, in Tahoka, Lynn County, Texas to the late Clifford Menford Gandy and Dorothy Lee (Nash) Gandy.
Kay was born and raised in Tahoka, and never left her hometown until her passing on Saturday. She was a homemaker, loved to cook and tend to her garden. Her garden was filled with the food she grew and the lovely flowers she planted. She was a busy grandmother, always chasing her grandkids around.
Survivors include one daughter, Shelley Woodbridge of Lubbock; three brothers, Menford Gandy of Tahoka, Berry Gandy of Lubbock and Jim Brown of Oklahoma; one sister, Cherry Gandy of Tahoka; three grandchildren, Gabriella Balderas, William Turner and Quill Woodbridge. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Karl Gandy; two sisters, Willie Thorne and Rita Mason.
Memorial services will be held at 1 P. M. on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at the Sweet Street Baptist Church in Tahoka. Donald Webster will be the officiant for the services.
