Linda Kaye Roberts, 78 of Lubbock passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021. She was born March 17, 1943, to Nathaniel Hamilton “Ham” and Mildred (Farris) Gammage in El Paso, Texas at Ft. Bliss Military Base. Linda graduated from Lockney High School. She married the love of her life Gregory Roberts on January 24, 1964, in Lockney. Linda worked for more than 30 years for the City of Lubbock in police records and the City Warehouse before retiring in 2006. She enjoyed cooking, baking all kinds of desserts, camping, sewing, and especially spending time with her family. Linda was a Christian woman. She was a loving and sweet wife, mother, and grandmother.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 57 years, Gregory Roberts of Lubbock; children, Tim Roberts and wife Shelley of Lockney, Chris Roberts and wife Wendy of Lubbock, John Davenport and wife Michele of Shallowater; sibling, Ronald Gammage and wife Shelley of Frisco; three grandchildren, Justin, Ashley and Joli Roberts.

She is preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Memorial donations can be made in Linda’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
