She was born on August 10, 1959, in Manhattan, Kansas, the daughter of Emery L. and LoRene (Straub) Wille. Cristina will be remembered above all as a loving mother and devoted Nana. Her family was the center of her life, and she created a lasting legacy through the care, warmth, and love she gave so freely to her children and grandchildren.
She had a special love for nature and found beauty, peace, and joy in the world around her. She is survived by her three children: daughter Corbin Moreno and her husband, Hector, and their children, Kayleigh, Kinsley, and Kennadi; daughter Courtney Walraven and her husband, Mitch, and their children, Elijah and Claire; and son Taylor Mabe and his children, Thane and Auri. She is also survived by three brothers: Brad Wille (Teresa) of Manhattan, Kansas; Jeffery Wille (Karen) of Wamego, Kansas; and Joseph Wille of Manhattan, Kansas. She is also survived by four sisters: BeLinda Cutright of Manhattan, Kansas; Jennifer Eickhoff (Bob) of Kansas City, Kansas; Mary Lynn Dooley of Manhattan, Kansas; and Marlene Phillips (Robert) of Green City, Missouri; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Cristi was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Michael Wille and David Wille; sister-in-law Shannon Wille; brother-in-law Chris Dooley; and great-nieces Aiyanna Lindsay and Serenity Nichole Reich. Cristina’s love as a mother and Nana will remain a treasured part of the lives of everyone who knew her. Her memory will live on in the laughter of her grandchildren, the strength of her children, and the many moments of beauty she found in nature.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites those who knew and loved Cristina to honor her memory by spending time outdoors and appreciating the beauty of nature she loved so dearly.
