In Loving Memory of a Beloved Mother and Grandmother 

Donna Lee Coxe, 68, of Lubbock, peacefully left this world on August 4, 2026, after a courageous 15-year battle with cancer.

From a very young age, she faced struggles and hardships that could have broken her spirit. Yet, through every challenge life placed before her, she continued to move forward with strength, grace, and a positive attitude. She persevered when life was difficult, finding reasons to keep going even during the moments when the road ahead seemed uncertain.

Donna’s greatest accomplishment in life was not measured by possessions, titles, or achievements. It was being a mother and grandmother. 

She was the mother of three children; Michael, Caroline and Patricia, all who she loved and sacrificed for greatly. No matter the circumstances, the love she carried for her children never wavered.

Throughout her life, she never stopped showing up for her children and grandchildren. Even while battling cancer for 15 years, she continued to give love, encouragement, and support. Her strength was not that she never struggled; her strength was that she continued to persevere despite everything she faced.

To her family, she was more than a mother and grandmother. She was a source of strength, a reminder to keep going, and an example of resilience. She taught those around her that life may not always be easy, but there is always a reason to keep moving forward and to hold on to hope.

Her greatest legacy will live on through her children, grandchildren, and the generations that follow. The love she gave, the sacrifices she made, and the memories she created will remain in their hearts forever. 

She was a mother. She was a grandmother. She was a fighter. She was loved.

May she rest peacefully, knowing that the love she poured into her family will continue to live on through all of them.
