Garrett Wayne Davee, 35, of Lubbock, Texas, passed away on February 12, 2026, in Lubbock. He was born on September 7, 1990, in Midland, Texas.
Garrett was a devoted son, loving father, cherished brother, and faithful friend. He is survived by his beloved son, Grayson Wayne Davee, who was the light of his life. He is also survived by his mother, Lori Ewing and her husband Doyce; his father, Sam Davee; his sister, Shelby Jenkins and her husband LeDarion; his sister, Rachael Jarma and her husband Lerenzo; and his step-sister, Danielle Ewing. He is also survived by his grandparents, Jim and Melba Davee.
Garrett was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Greenhill, and his grandmother, Barbara Harris.
Garrett was a dedicated member of Oakwood Fellowship, where he faithfully served and made a lasting impact. He volunteered with the Oakwood Food Pantry and later served as its chairman, demonstrating his generous spirit and heart for helping others in need. His willingness to serve and his compassion for his community reflected his strong faith and caring nature.
He enjoyed cooking for those he loved, spending time gaming and working with computers, and working on cars. Garrett had a sharp mind, a creative spirit, and a servant’s heart. Whether fixing something, preparing a meal, or offering a helping hand, he brought dedication and quiet strength to all he did.
Garrett’s love for his son and family, his faith, and his service to others will be remembered as the defining marks of his life. Though his time here was far too short, the legacy of love, kindness, and devotion he leaves behind will endure in the hearts of all who knew him.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 21st at 1:00 p.m. at Oakwood Fellowship, 2215 58th Street, Lubbock, Texas, with visitation immediately following in the lobby.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Oakwood Food Pantry, 2215 58th Street, Lubbock, TX 79412.
