In Loving Memory of Gina Annette Livingston

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gina Annette Livingston, age 66, of Marfa, Texas. Gina took her final bow surrounded by her loving family on July 20, 2026.

Gina was a woman of extraordinary faith, strength, and grace. She lived her life with a vibrant spirit and an open heart—a true force of nature who was loving, fiercely protective of her family, and unforgettable to anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Gina looked to the future with hope, believing the past was meant to teach us, not define us.

Born on May 13, 1960, in Aurora, Colorado, to John Joseph Beverung and Ramona Darlene Tavernier, Gina entered the world with a built-in sense of wonder. Growing up in a military family, she lived in many places—experiences that nurtured her natural curiosity, resilience, and adventurous soul. Gina also cherished an extraordinary family bond shared with her sisters: remarkably, every single one of them was born on the 13th of the month, a special connection they carried proudly throughout their lives. After graduating from Carter-Riverside High School in Fort Worth, Texas, she studied at Sam Houston State University and went on to work in the banking industry for over twenty-six years. This is also where she raised her two beautiful daughters, Geni and Geri.

In 2013, Gina moved to Marfa alongside her very dear friends of 30 years, Marjo and Larry Skiles, who were more like family whom she cherished deeply. It was here that she started a beautiful, deeply meaningful new chapter in her life.

Gina’s greatest joy was found in the beautiful family she built. She was the beloved wife and best friend to Wyck "Mike" Livingston for 9 wonderful years. Together, they built a life rooted in deep love, laughter, and shared adventures. Gina worked alongside her husband, Mike, in their family business and the Ranch, lovingly blending their families. She found pure joy in dancing with her husband and loved the excitement of traveling to new destinations alongside her family.

Gina was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who guided her family with unconditional love and gentle wisdom. She enjoyed camping and hiking with her daughters, Geni and Geri, creating a legacy of outdoor adventure. Gina brought immense beauty into the world through her passion for gardening, tending to her plants with the same gentle care she gave her family. She had a wonderful eye for capturing the world's beauty, finding great joy in taking pictures of nature and especially flowers. Gifted with a creative touch, she also spent countless hours sewing beautiful memories for her children and grandchildren. Gina thoughtfully wrote handwritten cards sent for every occasion, which have now become cherished reminders of her love for each of us. Her absolute favorite chapter of life was watching her family grow, filling their lives with warmth and joy. Her warmth, creativity, and infectious laugh will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Gina's legacy of unwavering faith, kindness, and adventure will live on forever through the family she cherished so deeply.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Wyck "Mike" Livingston; her daughters, Geni Corral and husband Alex, and Geri Williams; her siblings, Darlene Tatum, Anita Calvert, Karen Prince, Raymond Moreno, and Joseph Moreno; her cherished grandchildren, Matthew, Blake, Tripp, and Faith; as well as many deeply loved stepchildren, step-grandchildren, and a wide circle of extended family and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ramona.

A celebration of Gina’s life will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 10:30 AM at the First Presbyterian Church in Marfa, Texas.
