Juan Rodriquez, 69, of Lubbock, Texas, passed away on September 6, 2026. He was born in Lubbock on May 25, 1957, to Basilio and Senona Rodriquez.

Juan was a hardworking man with a big heart and a genuine love for helping people. After graduating from Estacado High School, he proudly served with the Army National Guard. He later worked at Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in Grounds Maintenance and at Southern Manor Nursing Home as a CNA.

Juan was the kind of person who was always willing to help. Whether someone needed a hand with something around their house, needed someone to care for them, or simply needed a friend, Juan was there. He never seemed to think twice about helping someone in need. Landscaping and carpentry were things he enjoyed, and he was always happiest when he was outdoors, working with his hands or making something better.

Juan loved life and loved having a good time. He was truly the life of the party and could bring laughter and good memories wherever he went. He loved fishing, being outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and especially loved his pets. And, of course, Juan was rarely without his black coffee in his hand.

More than anything, Juan loved people. He enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends and had a way of making people feel welcome. His generosity, humor, and willingness to help others are the things his family will remember most.

Juan is survived by his brothers, Rudy Rodriguez, Frank Rodriquez, and Ben Rodriquez; his niece who was like his little sister, Melissa Rodriquez; and many nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Juan and Reyes Herrera; his parents, Basilio and Senona Rodriguez; his sister, Janie Rodriguez; and his son, Juan Rodrigo Rodriquez.

Juan leaves behind more than memories. He leaves behind the people he helped, the lives he touched, the laughter he shared, and the many stories that will continue to be told about him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
