Maria S. Criado, 91, of Lubbock, Texas, passed away on October 15, 2026. She was born on February 21, 1935, and will be remembered by her family with love.

Maria enjoyed working in her garden and yard, spending time with her dogs, shopping, and traveling with her family. She treasured the time spent with those she loved and created many memories that will be cherished for years to come.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Anita Rodriguez Ortega (Oscar) and Maria R Rodriguez (Sam), Olga Martinez (Jesse), Benancio Rodriguez, 27 Grandchildren, 62 great grandkids, and 20 great great grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving kids, Mario Rodriguez, Patricia Reveles, Ramona Garza, Maria J Rodriguez, and Dominga Rodriguez.

A funeral service honoring Maria’s life will be held at Venue on Broadway on October 23, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.

Maria will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.
