Mark Wayne Aldana, a devoted father, beloved life partner, and accomplished entrepreneur, passed away on June 9, 2026, in Lubbock, Texas. Born on June 23, 1960, Mark lived a life marked by warmth, humor, and an abundance of love that touched all who knew him.

Mark earned an MBA, a testament to his dedication and ambition, which helped him build a successful career as a self-employed professional in both real estate and medical devices. His work was characterized by integrity and a strong entrepreneurial spirit, reflecting his commitment to excellence and innovation.

Family was the cornerstone of Mark’s life, and he took immense pride in being a father. His greatest joy came from nurturing and supporting his children, Amy Lynn Mitchell, along with her husband Devon, and Derek Joseph Aldana. Mark’s loving and steadfast presence was a source of strength and comfort to his family. He shared a deep and meaningful relationship with his life partner and soulmate, Lori Wilkins, who stood by his side through life’s many chapters. Mark also leaves behind his brother, Mike Aldana, with whom he shared cherished memories and a close bond.

Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Beverly (Berrey) Aldana, as well as his younger brother, Steven Aldana. Their legacy lived on in Mark’s character and the values he held dear.

Mark was known for his warm and funny nature, making every room he entered brighter. His laughter and kindness created enduring friendships and blessed those around him with joy. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mark enjoyed embracing life’s simple pleasures. He was an enthusiastic pickleball player, loved going on cruises, and found solace in sitting alongside the pool, soaking in the beauty of the world around him.

A Memorial Gathering followed by a Celebration of Life will be held to honor Mark’s memory on June 13, 2026, at Venue on Broadway, located at 2202 Broadway Street in Lubbock, Texas. The Memorial Gathering will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by the Celebration of Life at 11:00 a.m., allowing friends and family to come together, share stories, and celebrate the wonderful life Mark lived.
