Mazell Little, 92, of O'Donnell, Texas, passed away on October 5, 2026. She was born on April 10, 1934, in Girard, Texas, to William Wayne and Lillie Lucille Beadle.
Mazell married Rex Little on July 3, 1964, in Idalou, Texas. In 1982, they settled in O’Donnell, Texas, where they made their home and raised their family. Together, they owned and operated Texas Grocery in Wilson, Texas, for six years and Little’s Grocery and Market in O’Donnell for 21 years.
Mazell was an active member of the 1942 Study Club and served as president. She was also a longtime member of First Baptist Church in O’Donnell. She enjoyed baking, cooking, and crafts, and she cherished the time spent with her family.
She is survived by her children, Waynell Smith of Ira, Texas, and Wesley Little (Andrea) of Midland, Texas; grandchildren, Karla Smith, Kody Smith, and Bailey Resendez (Michael); great-grandchildren, Kylie Jolly, Logan Engle, Hunner Resendez, Ryder Resendez, and Onyx Resendez; and her brother, Guinn Beadle.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rex Little; son-in-law, Kerry Smith; grandson, Kevin Wayne Little; and sister, Lorene Bachman.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Lynnwood Assisted Living and Lynn County Hospital for the exceptional care, compassion, and kindness they provided to Mazell. Their dedication and support meant so much to Mazell and her family.

Mazell will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends for her kindness, devotion to family, and the many years she shared with those she loved.
