Patrick Soliz Ramos of Lubbock passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at the age of 53. He was born August 23, 1973, in Lubbock, to Anselmo and Angie (Soliz) Ramos. Patrick grew up in Lubbock, where he attended Lubbock High School. Following high school, he began working at Texas Instruments before joining the United States Army. After receiving an honorable discharge due to an injury, Patrick returned home to Lubbock, where he built a long and dedicated career with X-FAB.

More than anything, Patrick loved spending time with his family. Some of his happiest moments were the simplest ones, just “hanging out,” enjoying good company, and hosting backyard barbecues surrounded by those he loved. He had a natural ability to bring people together, and wherever Patrick was, laughter was sure to follow.

Patrick was also a man of many talents and interests. A gifted sketch artist, he enjoyed expressing his creativity through drawing. He was also a talented handyman and craftsman of all sorts, with a natural ability to work with his hands, fix just about anything, and bring his ideas to life. He had a passion for cars and took great pride in his collection, often spending time working on them. He was also an avid collector of memorabilia, especially items that brought back fond childhood memories, including model cars, Star Wars collectibles, and vintage toys.

Above all, Patrick will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, outgoing personality, and ability to make others laugh. He never met a stranger and had a way of making everyone feel welcome.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Kevin Ramos and wife Madison, and Marina Ramos, all of Lubbock; his beloved granddaughter, Mila; father, Anselmo Ramos of Lubbock; brothers, Jesse Ramos and wife Jennifer, and Elmo Ramos, all of Lubbock; former wife, Maria Ramos, with whom he maintained a close and meaningful relationship with; and his extended family.

Patrick was preceded in death by his mother.
