Stephen Taylor Graham, 77, of Lubbock, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2026, at Covenant Medical Center. He was born on February 23, 1949, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Richard B. Graham and Jeanne Graham.

Stephen graduated from Allegheny Clarion Valley High School in Foxburg, Pennsylvania, in 1967. He later attended McMurry University in Abilene, Texas, while serving at Dyess Air Force Base.

Stephen will be remembered for his faith in God, love of family, and strong work ethic. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially traveling to the National Parks and the beach at South Padre Island. He especially enjoyed officiating and watching soccer with his son, Chris. Stephen embraced his role as “Pop Pop” and treasured watching Olivia and Eliza grow. He also gave back to his community through his eight years of volunteer service at the UMC Cancer Infusion Center.

Stephen is survived by his beloved wife, Ruth Ann Adams Graham; his son, Christopher Adams Graham and his wife, Megan Graham; his granddaughters, Olivia and Eliza Graham; his sister, Kathy Wilson and her husband, Don; and numerous in-laws, nieces, and extended family members who loved him dearly.

At Stephen’s request, he will be cremated. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at First United Methodist Church on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that those wishing to honor Stephen’s memory consider making a donation to the UMC Health System Cancer Center.

The family would like to thank the Oncology and Intensive Care teams at Covenant Medical Center for the exceptional care and kindness they showed Stephen and his family during his final days.

Stephen will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who loved him.
