Paula Tamplin

Paula Tamplin, 65, of Littlefield, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 4, 2022.  Paula was born on September 2, 1956, in Winters, Runnels County, Texas, to the late Albert Lawrence Meyers and Olga Earline (Kirby) Meyers.

She attended Tarrant County Junior College, where she obtained her Associates Degree in Mathematics.

Paula was involved with her husband as a truck driving team for Tucker Enterprises, until retiring in 2008.  She loved to sew, crochet, make jewelry and was fond of her cats and dogs.  She was raised in the Christian faith.  Paula was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Air Force.

Survivors include her husband, Richard; one daughter, Courtney Scales of Bedford; two brothers, Larry Meyers, and Joe Meyers, both of Winters; one sister, Louise Dunnam of Siloam Springs, Arkansas.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Celebration of Life Memorial Services will be held at 2 PM on Friday, September 2, 2022, in the Combest Family Memorial Chapel.  Reverend L. J. Wright, of New Home Baptist Church, will be the officiant.  Memorial services and cremation arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Combest Family Funeral Homes and Crematory.
