Alan Michael Haney

Alan Michael Haney, 69, of Lubbock, TX, passed away, with his family by his side on July 3, 2024. He was born on December 16, 1954, in the Panama Canal at the US Navy Hospital. 

Alan or “Doc”, as he was called, was a part of the Lubbock music scene for many years before he became too ill to perform. 

Alan is survived by his wife, Genie Haney; one daughter, Jackie Milton; and five siblings, Cathy Duquette, Deedee Rockholt, Kelly Wampler, Darren Wampler and Gary Haney.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bill Wampler of Ralls, TX, and Mary Lou Russell of Brushton, NY.
