Allison Ridley

Allison Ridley, 72, of Lubbock and loving wife of Curtis Osment went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday morning, January 22, 2026, after an unexpected and sudden illness. Allison was born on March 24, 1953, in Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, to the late Robert Norris and Nita (Adams) Norris.

Following graduation from high school, she attended Amarillo College and received her degree in Dental Hygiene. She worked for various dental groups before working for Abbeville Dentistry and retiring in 2019.

Allison met Curtis Osment, and they were married in Lubbock in May of 1995.

Allison loved cross stitching, her dogs, and especially her grandchildren. She grew up in the Baptist faith. She was known as a “pistol” who would tell it like it is whether you liked it or not, and she had a big personality in such a small body. She loved everybody she came to meet and was known to be very stylish and could be very sarcastic and loved to push your button for a response. Allison was also a rock for her husband Curtis.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory include her husband, Curtis: two daughters: Kayla Johnson and her husband Allen of Decatur, Texas, and Kassandra Orman and husband Brian of Lafayette, Colorado; one brother, Chris Norris of Georgia; four grandchildren: Maci Johnson, Avery Johnson, Henry Johnson and Karlie Johnson. Allison was preceded in death by her parents.

Celebration of Life Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at 10 AM in the Combest Family Memorial Chapel, 2210 Broadway in Lubbock. Cremation arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Combest Family Funeral Homes and Crematory.
