Amber Jacobs

Amber Lyn Jacobs was born on December 17, 1970 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Lubbock, Texas became her new home during her teenage years where Amber attended Lubbock High School. For a short time, Amber lived in Colorado Springs where she welcomed her one and only daughter, Lauren, to the world in 1989. After returning to Lubbock, she proudly worked as a medical assistant and enjoyed her life as a mother and daughter. Amber was known for her caring, compassionate, generous nature, as well as her love of beaches, animals and hot baths with red wine. Amber was preceded in death by her father, Randall Bernard Jacobs, in 2007. She is survived by her daughter Lauren Nicholle Gilligan, her mother Connie Jacobs and her grandmother Velma Parham (Melson). Amber's memory will be cherished by her extended family and many loving friends.

A memorial service will be held on April 10th at 1pm at St. Paul's Chapel at 4011 University Avenue, Lubbock, TX 79424.
