Angela Denise Appleton

Angela Denise (Mullins) Appleton, 60 of Lubbock passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019.  She was born July 18, 1958 to James Clayton and Shirley Ann (McIntyre) Mullins in Winfield, Kansas.  Angela married the love of her life, Michael Rowan Appleton in 1984 in Bedford, Texas.  Her life revolved around her grandkids and taking care of her family.  Angela was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Amber Peters and husband Grant; son, Cody Appleton; and upon marrying her best friend she gained four step-sons, Vaughn Appleton and wife Dana, Sean Appleton and wife Michelle, Sven Appleton and wife Carolyn, Ian Appleton and wife Melissa; three biological grandchildren, James, William and Nicholas Peters; 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and her best-friend, Sheri Lewis.

She is preceded in death by her best friend and husband of 34 years, Michael; and her parents, James and Shirley.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Combest Family Memorial Chapel.
